Ultrasounds, also called sonograms, use sound waves to develop images of the soft tissues inside of the body.
They are often used to evaluate and treat common women’s issues as well as to monitor the development of the fetus during pregnancy. Ultrasounds are painless and noninvasive, and can help determine your due date, if you’re having multiples, and alert us to any potential problems. It’s also so special to get to take home an image of your baby. And by the 20-week ultrasound, we might even be able to determine the baby’s sex.
